What is an MCP gateway?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the open standard that lets AI agents call tools and access resources. An MCP gateway is a single endpoint that aggregates many tools — and adapts them to every MCP-compatible client. Instead of wiring each tool to each agent separately, you connect once and every agent can call your tools.

Cross-agent settlement, built in

When multiple agents collaborate on a task, someone needs to keep track of "who did what and who owes whom". JiZhiMCP ships a neutral settlement layer for exactly this:

settlement.account — open or query a settlement account
settlement.transfer — atomic credit transfer between two agents (idempotent, hash-chained, no overdraft)
settlement.ledger — query an account's balance and transaction history
audit.record — immutable audit trail with SHA-256 digests
metering.record — per-agent usage metering and aggregation

Every ledger entry carries a SHA-256 digest chained to the previous one, making the whole ledger auditable and tamper-evident.

1. Create an API key in the console (starts with sk-).

2. Add this server to your MCP client:
